This strip is a lovely holiday treat, Jynksie! It’s so winter wonderful I feel holly and jolly just looking at it. Hodge’s angst kinda makes me glad comics are a soundless medium about right now. I hope the yuletide brings you lots of joy and plenty of pie!

Thanks Mark! I’m glad you were to able to savor the beauty of winter here in MADBURY! [grin] I had a lot of fun making these winter scenes, I’ve had years and years…. and years… of living in the snow as my muse! [blink]

mmmmm…. pie! [right back at ya!]

I have often found that a beater turned on the highest setting will often puree those eardrums to the point that any and all melodies that cause your spine to tingle and your blood to curdle will be easily drown into the most melodious cacophony of blood curdling joy. The time it takes for the membranes to regrow on your eardrums allows for the rest of the holiday season to be filled with that silent loveliness we all long for this time of year. It also works good for those long drawn out stories the in-laws repeat year after year. :)

Nice Muppet and Charlie Brown homage in their speeches. Man I love the new Muppet movie. Merry Christmas Jynksie.

I see you’ve put some actual thought into how to go deaf…. willingly there! o.O [grin] …. That new Muppet Movie was very nostalgic and pure Muppet goodness!

We sang my friend happy birthday last week. He said if we ever go out karaoke-ing that he wants to go on right after my wife.

“Life is like a fish fillet!”

    “…it just is!”

THE MUPPETS was great, and I’m glad it’s catching on as a classic already.

Interesting timing for the strip… My wife and I were celebrating our dating anniversary… 12 years yesterday… that’s why I’m commenting later than usual!

      …but can she sing? [grin]

      • JerryBenedict

Actually she can… very well I might add… She even gets solos at church!

My wife used to sing in theater shows until I came along. She actually CAN sing, so heres hoping no one thinks I’m playing on reality here! [grin]

Fun comic today, Jynksie I love the scenery. You must get to see some amazing views in NH.

Thanks George! NH is a beautiful state for sure. I’ve also seen the Rockies and the Alps, which makes NH look hilly at most in comparison! [smirk]

Just had to take a pop back by and take another gander at this strip, Jynksie! It makes me feel so wintery! You did a great job of catching the season at its finest. I hope you and your wife a lovely, warm, nut-roasting holiday, preferably of the chestnut kind. Happy Holidays!
