I would take articles like these with a bit of skepticsm… Rogue judges aren’t exclusive to Saudi Arabia; this particular judge’s statements may not reflect the general opinion of the people over there. It is however sensational enough for CNN to pick up!

That aside, I would advice you to quietly uninstall all the ceiling fans in your home!

And here I thought if it was a news story, it HAD to be REAL!!! (cough*gag*cough)! I’m sure you could find a rogue judge or two here on my soil who’d think the same way… sadly.

As for the ceiling fans, I just installed one, there are now three in my house to quietly fear! LOL

It’s crazy what husbands can get away with in other countries. I think they’re nuts. Poor ladies. Yes, they should bring their husbands here and then try it. I think the ceiling fan outcome would make for some pretty good evening news.

Ouch! I just imagined the wife tying a rope from the husbands testicles to the ceiling fan, THEN turning it ON.
Talk about watching his love go round and round. Great strip, Jynksie!

When I put this comic together, it was less about the country of origin as it was a generalization of how women are viewed in other parts of the world as opposed to here at home, as well as a difference in cultural norms.

With that said, it seems another article has come out that originally spurred this comic:
