Up late eating ice cream, a man after my own heart. I knew a couple years ago & the wife wanted children when they were in their 20′s but he kept saying he wasn’t ready yet. At about age 32 he decided he then wanted kids. By then she had decided she was over wanting them as she had always said if she didn’t have kids by 30 then she wouldn’t have them at all. They are in their late 40′s now & still childless.
I’m certain I don’t want children and the wife has only wavered once in all the years we’ve been married. She has me to raise and thats quite enough! I’m a handful! *grin*
I feel a long-running storyline coming on. Maybe around, say, nine months?
That would be the expected journey, yes, but when do I ever take the road already paved and marked? *grin*
Love that quote. I haven’t done the last part yet though.
You know the guy who wrote that quote, he’s just to modest to quote himself on his own website and notate it! *wink-smirk*
It’s like I tell my wife, the fun is in the trying.
Hodge may have just scared her chaste, we shall see! *grin*
Uh oh… this is when the trouble begins!
Theres more trouble to be had in what he said, than having not said it at all! o.O
I wait till they are all deeply asleep so I can hit the ice cream carton privately. If the kids left me any ice cream, that is.
That’s why I don’t have kids Tim, I refuse to share my ice cream! I have my limits to politeness and my frozen dairy products are where I draw a line!

You can either have the ice cream or the children; if you choose the latter the former will be gone in seconds.
I choose ice cream, you don’t have to put it through college!
Or you can wait until they’re grown and gone and have it all. But if she’s diabetic… NOT a good idea.
In my house, no kids, not now, not E-V-A-H! …In Hodges house, time’ll tell! *grin*
