Hodge had better be careful to not let his blood pressure get too high. Unless he’s already taking Lipitor. He needs to keep his stress level at an acceptable level by just dealing with home.
I have gotten in trouble at work for refusing to champion the company line when I don’t agree with it. It’s a sad thing to see a person acting as the voice of unreason just because they are forced to do it by the one who carries the purse…
I feel for Hodge as well. However, I think next weeks comic will clarify even further why Hodge remains as dutiful employee of The Daily Granite and why leaving would be hard-to-do!
Okay, I started—- here we go with a quote…
“People always say that we can’t have gay marriage because marriage is a sacred institution, that happens in the church. It’s sacred… no it’s not! Marriage ain’t sacred! Not in America! Not in the country that watches “Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire?” or “The Bachelor” or “The Bachelorette” or “Who Wants to Marry a Midget?” Get the f*** outta here! Gay people have a right to be miserable as everybody else! Michael Jackson got married, how ****in’ sacred is that s***?”
-Chris Rock
key point: Gay people have a right to be miserable as everybody else!
WOW! you really DO swear like a truck driver! *grin* … Mr. Rock is correct, if the population that is allowed to marry has to be miserable, why not spread the misery to everyone?!? *smirk*
However, you me dear, are to new to the marriage game to already have such views on the bondage of marriage! Then again, you may just be a realist who knows what she’s gotten herself into!
You little…. you have scotland yahd watching me, dont you?! *smirk* …thats exactly what I’ve got drawn for next weeks comic! Wait’ll you see panel 1! o.O

I think Hodge will “liquor it up” before he “lipitors it up” there George! I sense a 3 martini lunch coming for him soon enough!
Heheheh, so far it’s going great, Jynksie.
Thanks Pam! As always, I appreciate the feedback you’ve given. =)

I would suspect that he won’t be in the running for White House Press Secretary anytime soon either.
HAH! Imagine him as Sarah Palins Press Secretary… wait, that would mean she’s the… *gak* *brain snapped*! o.O
Uh oh… I think his head is going to ‘splode!
Conundrums tend to make your head begin to swell in the worst of ways! Here’s hoping poor ole Hodge doesn’t have a bloody aneurism! o.O
I would definitely NOT want to be in Madbury’s shoes at this moment. Great stuff, Jynksie!
Thanks Mark! Hodge is only wearing those shoes cause his wife put the problem out there for the world to see! That darned Mel and her shenanigans!
don’t get me started.

Why do I get the feeling Hodge’s ‘Guuuhhh’ is going to be quoted in a lot of newspapers?!

Oh no! I always hate it when somebody guesses what I have in store, and I’ve gone and done it to you! Oops. Sorry!
Yer fine! It just proves great minds think alike! …. however, I am the prettier one and there’ll be no argument on THAT! *grin*
