I have gotten in trouble at work for refusing to champion the company line when I don’t agree with it. It’s a sad thing to see a person acting as the voice of unreason just because they are forced to do it by the one who carries the purse…
I feel for Hodge…
I feel for Hodge as well. However, I think next weeks comic will clarify even further why Hodge remains as dutiful employee of The Daily Granite and why leaving would be hard-to-do!
I would suspect that he won’t be in the running for White House Press Secretary anytime soon either.
