Melinda Madbury- She’s smart, she’s successful, she’s Hodges wife. While Hodge stumbles through the maze of life, she leads the way. In fact, don’t get in her way or you’ll have the imprint of her Manolo Blahniks across your back.

Domino Pappajonghino- He’s horny, he’s crass, he gets around. A confirmed bachelor who pokes fun at the concept of commitment and monogamy when he’s around Hodge, secretly wishes he could settle down.

Maggie May Waddilove- She’s been married more times than Elizabeth Taylor and has a libido that would make women of her generation blush. She’s Melinda’s Mother, much to Melinda’s dismay!

Mr. Bigotti- You’ll never actually “see” him, but he appears now and again as Hodges boss and publisher of New Hampshires largest and most conservative newspaper, “The Daily Granite”. Mr. Bigotto is constantly putting Hodge at odds with his own beliefs for the benefit of his own agenda, even if they are unpopular with newspapers own readers, which has slowly been eroding the newspaper relevancy in the state.

The Resident Lesbians- Sami and Kalli [Kalena] are friends of the Madburys who came to Granite Hills to settle down and marry. Hodge has an odd fascination with these ladies, the girls are certain he has them confused with lesbian porn!
