The Massachusetts Independent Comic Expo. [MICE] was my latest foray to a comics convention. I again went as a spectator and was fortunate enough to spend time actually interacting with both creators and participants through the Odori Park table, Chris Watkins likes to wander off at these things willy-nilly! [I kid-I kid!] What I liked about this one, as opposed to the one I went to in Connecticut, is that this was all about independent talent and they had a chance to shine! It gave me a lot of ideas for MADBURY and that alone was worth the cost of admission! [it was free]

“Puckered up and kissed his boo-boo”.
I love the way you wield words, mister. I really do.
I’m what you call a guttural wordsmith! [smirk]
Jinx!! I just used that last comment in a reponse to my Marge Simpson cartoon!!
Boo boo…what about his Yogi?
Yeah-yeah, I see it now that I went and looked. Your response to Aiden is my punchline! So what do I do now, send you a royalty? rewrite the last panel? Shave the hair across your ass? [grin]
His yogi just wants to munch a PIC-a-nic BAS-ket! [blinks] …I have no idea what that means!
Across my ass? Not the whole thing?
You really enjoy talking about that beast of ass you have, dont ya! [smirk]
Hey Jynks, do a checkered pattern [snort]
Kiss the boo boo? That’s gross!
Doesn’t he still have stiches?
By the way, I really like how you did the background in this strip.
I didnt have stitches when I had mine. I think they glued me back together. Its a vewy small incision w/ a very large amount of angst to go with it! [grin]
Isn’t “Utter Blondeness” the next movie in the “Legally Blonde” series?
They cant use it now! I said it, I own it! [grin]
Personally, I think it was a fair trade. Love that gorgeous panel three, Jynksie!
Since this story is loosely based on truth, I do agree, it WAS a fair trade! …and thank you! That panel 3 took me eons to get right, so I appreciate it being appreciated! [really]
I’m loving the shading and depth you’re getting in this one, Scott. Especially in Panel 3, as Mark said. Lovely!
When do we get to the puppy? o.o
Thanks for the kind words Jande!I love doing outdoor scenery! [grin]
When do we get to the puppy?!? Lets see, according to my notes… May 2013! [wink] j/k
That would have amounted to a lot of puckering up over the years…
Yeah, but I’m sure we can both agree that all that puckering, led to a giant KISS OFF! [grin]
