Hoffman dragged Dick Armey of Texas along with him to meet with editorial boards of the major newspapers in the district. When asked about local issues, both Hoffman and Armey responded that voters don't care about local issues. Yeah, that stupid SOB deserved to lose. If Republicans don't think that local issues matter, they had better like being the minority party.
