I can see where Hodge is coming from when looking at the current state of the GOP! It’s like they were sent adrift on an ever shrinking iceberg to nowhere! You’d think with the power of their mouthpiece (FOX NEWS), they’d have some sense of organization, direction, or a clue even! Maybe they are taking a cue from the various factions of the DNC?! Even with a majority in the house and senate, what have the Democrats accomplished exactly?!? Yeah, I’m bashing the system as a whole today, feel free to bash back!! *grin*

Good one, Jynks! We both must have politics on the brain today! :)

    • jynksie

I think we do, I think WE do!! *grin*

  2. speearr

    He’s back in his seat!

    Hmm… politics.

    • jynksie

He writes commentary, next time he could be opinionating (not a word GW) on religion, or the state of twinkies in a post apocalyptic world!

  3. Neil

I read comics to avoid politics. Now I just need to delete the bookmark for this.

    • jynksie

wOw… it only took one politically slanted comic to chase you off?!? *waives*

    • Bearman

I take it I won’t be seeing Neil at my site either.

      • jynksie

I’m guessing not! But considering how many political comics I’ve done in the past year and half (3), who’d think -one- would be enough to chase someone away?!?

What would a yankee liberal from New England know about conservative values. Why do you hate America?

    • jynksie

You know why I hate America Po !! They took away my 7 layer dip at the Sylvan Street Grille! Viva La Canada!!

      • speearr

So…. you’re what they classify a ‘yankee liberal’? Cool, I learn something new every day. Lol…

        • jynksie

I wasn’t aware anyone said “yankee liberal” anymore. Didn’t that terminology go out with, say, the civil war era?!?

  5. Nate Fakes

Right on! I totally agree with this. Republicans are a little further off course though

    • jynksie

It’s always nice when someone agrees! I figured I was only pointing out the blatantly obvious!

  6. jeromatic

How DARE you insult Republicans sir! After giving us two wars and and the worst economy in 70 years, we owe them a debt of gratitude that our Grandchildren will have to pay off!

    • jynksie

Hey now, my ratings have dropped 47% since this comic aired, comments like this could erode me even further!! I’m becoming the NBC of webcomics!! o.O …you shouldn’t point out the obvious Jer, people no likey!! *grin*

You’re talking about Hoffman, the Conservative Party candidate in the NY 23rd Congressional District. Hoffman dragged Dick Armey of Texas along with him to meet with editorial boards of the major newspapers in the district. When asked about local issues, both Hoffman and Armey responded that voters don’t care about local issues.

Yeah, that stupid SOB deserved to lose. If Republicans don’t think that local issues matter, they had better like being the minority party.

    • jynksie

The GOP won’t be anything more than a regional party if they keep their current “conservative movement” going. The party consists of 3 issues, abortion, marriage and war, how could they possibly be a party that focuses on local issues?!?
