I added an "inner glow" effect using photoshop elements 6 for the blue water, then adding a drop shadow effect to darken it in spots. The water is laid into that frame in 3 different layers, then blurred as needed. Hodge was slipped in as yet another layer in between them! I can't recall how long it took me to get the water to look that way, but it certainly wasn't a quickie! In total, frame 4 is about 9 layers of individual art in total.
