I don’t think I’ve ever done a comic without words before! I had some written, but when I finished the panels, I realized nothing needed to be said! Well, one thing needs to be said, but you’ll have to mouse over the comic to read it!
If you suddenly fell into this weeks strip, you most likely are wondering why Bunny Wiggins from Muddlecreek is attacking Hodge?!? Well it all begins HERE! (there are a couple of off story comics in the trail, just work around them)! If you want to go back to where we last left things between Hodge and Bunny, simply go HERE!
Oh, BTW, there will be another COMIC update on Thursday, the 17th of this week as well!

Attacked by a bunny – ouch! Hodge can’t swim either? What’s happening next?
We are about to embark on the road less traveled and do a little story. Each comic will be filled by plot points, suspense and humor… which may come -mostly- from viewer comments! *grin*
Awesome! I can’t wait to see what happens next.
Thanks Tony! Lets hope I can keep that feeling going for the duration!!!
Love how the motion looks in this, esp the 3rd panel.
Thanks B! I had been wondering how others were looking at the motion scenes and responding to them!
I knew karma was coming back for Hodge.
Karma has only just begun!!!!! You finger the universe, the universe is gonna wanna have a lil’ chat with you, no?!?
A comic on Monday?! You’re trying to confuse us man….
I must say, this is the single most dynamic strip you’ve ever done! The water in Panel 4 is amazing, how the heck did you render that??
And nice touch with BW escaping on the helicopter into the sunset…
Someone isn’t following their tweets, is THEY?!? *grin*
That’s quite a compliment coming from you bud! o.O …The water was done via the smudge tool and opacity reducer. I added an “inner glow” effect using photoshop elements 6 for the blue water, then adding a drop shadow effect to darken it in spots. The water is laid into that frame in 3 different layers, then blurred as needed. Hodge was slipped in as yet another layer in between them! I can’t recall how long it took me to get the water to look that way, but it certainly wasn’t a quickie! In total, frame 4 is about 9 layers of individual art in total.
English, please.
Lol yeah I get what you’re describing, but I didn’t realise the smudge tool can be used to achieve such a cool effect. I must give it a try.
And no, I’ve been a bit inactive on Twitter. I’ll try to get back into it more vigorously
This looks good, Jynksie! You’re switchin’ up days on me, trying to keep me on my toes. Sorry I was so late getting here.
It was a last minute decision to throw this strip out on Monday. Once it was done and I knew what the next strip behind it was going to be, I realized I needed to do 2 in one week for the right effect and slightly longer cliffhanger, which will come tomorrow!
He he! I hope Hodge will be alright… if Bunny Wiggins starts getting revenge on all of his jurors it would TOTALLY disrupt the webcomic world! He seems to make these appearances when I miss an update… lol
Well, click ahead a strip and you’ll find Hodge floating! *grin*
Bunny has escaped, so the batton has been passed back to the master Jer! Run with it!! *wink*
I did not see this… Why oh why are guests attacking the main character? This is absolutely outrageous. I will report it to the Webcomic Main Character Rights Foundation!
If you do, then Bunny Wiggins may end up coming after you as well Nef!! He’s a diabolical wabbit!
