Ahhhhh, springtime…. when a young man’s fancy turns to, well, allergies and flying underpants!! It’s the price we pay for enjoying the great outdoors after a long, cold, gray, dull, snowy winter!! I’m more than happy to sacrifice my underpants to the allergy gods if it means warm weather is-a-comin!! …TMI, I know, but I am a sharer!!!
If there were any newspapers still around, I could see the headlines now: “Blooming Flowers Cause Flying Bloomers”. Haha!
Really nice colors this week. You did a great job with the backgrounds. I especially like the tiny window view of Hodge & Melinda. Wow, how did you draw them soooooooo small!? Haha!
That window scene was very-VERY hard Gary!! *wink-wink* I had to use a magnifying glass, india ink and the the feather of the elusive loon to get it just right!! Thanks for the positive feedback, it’s always a nice boost!!

It’s the ship that’s always hanging behind Hodge when he sits down at the computer.
In the last panel, though, there’s something right at the bottom that’s the same colour as the shoe suspended in mid-air, but I can’t figure out what it is.
They are his feet… one has a sock still on and the other flew off!! You couldn’t tell that?
And yes, you nailed it! It’s the ship picture you always see behind him when he’s at his computer.

I knew it was the ship, but it surely looks like Homer…
